Tech Requirements

Unit set of a bandstand and Little Big Man's radio booth. Past productions used an arch resembling an old-fashioned Wurlitzer jukebox to frame the bandstand, with the radio booth just off to the side.

The script calls for various locales at which Patsy performed, such as the Grand Ole Opry. These locations may be identified simply by relying on the commentary of Little Big Man and a change in Patsy's costume, or more elaborately, by flying in backdrops, depending on the size and capabilities of the presenting venue.

Cast Requirements

  • 1 actor to play DJ and stand up comedy routines.
  • 5-6 piece band consisting of piano, bass, guitar, drums and a peddle steel guitar. Fiddle may be added.
